Virtual Teams too informed?

I heard recently of people discussing how to use microblogging in new ways. Im not sure we need to go down this hole.

I have a virtual team in Indiana. We keep in contact through IM and VOIP. This is just about as connected as I want to be with them. Anything more would be invasive.
